The increasingly serious environment pollution problem

With the development of our social economy, our environment faces several problems and many of these seem to be worsening with time, bringing us into a time of a true environmental crisis. Therefore enhancing public awareness of these problems is essential to lessen their detrimental effects. Environmental pollution is increasing day by day and imposing severe and irreversible damage to the world. Now don’t wait for it to happen before we realize that it is closely related to us. We need to take our action.

What we can do?

  1. Commute smart by walking or riding to work or the shops instead of driving. Motor vehicle emissions remain the most significant source of most common air pollutants.
  2. Choose a fuel-efficient vehicle next time you are replacing your car.
  3. Save energy, by turning off the television and make sure you flick the light switch when you leave the room. Not only will you save money on your electricity bill, you will be reducing emissions from coal-fired electricity plants.
  4. Buy energy -efficient appliances. Check the energy rating label when buying new or second hand electrical appliances. More stars mean less emissions. The Energy Rating web site will help you select energy efficient appliances.
  5. Use environmentally friendly cleaning products. Phosporus in detergents increases nutrient loads in rivers and can cause excessive algal growth. Never pour chemicals or fertilisers down the drain as they get washed into stormwater drains and into rivers or the ocean.
  6. Use reusable items instead of throwaway products. For example, we can use glass bottles to replace the plastic jars, which is not only healthy to our health but also reduces the plastic pollution.

Why We Need to Use Glass Bottles instead of Plastic Bottles

From a grocery store trip to applying lotions, our plastic consumption is omnipresent. Due to their chemical composition, all plastics take from 450-1,000 years to biodegrade, many cannot be recycled at all, and none can be recycled more than a few times. This deadly fusion – combined with the obscenely high rate of production which involves burning fossil fuels and ensuing greenhouse gas emissions – has made plastic a global environmental tragedy with disastrous consequences for both humans and wildlife.

Using glass bottles is a good choice for us to reduce plastic pollution. It really has a lot of pros:

  • Glass bottles can be recycled without limit.
  • Glass bottles are impermeable and nonporous, so they don't pick up tastes or odors.
  • Unlike plastic bottles, glass bottles don't require petroleum products to manufacture, and most of the water used is reused. It's just ash, limestone, and sand. A one liter bottle of water requires five liters of water: the one liter inside plus four more liters to make the bottle, water that is lost to the water cycle.
  • Glass bottles react chemically with far, FAR fewer things than plastic, making them safer for a much wider set of uses, especially long term uses.
  • Glass bottles contribute far less to long term pollution, and they don't degrade into pollutants near as hazardous to wildlife. Their only danger is the skin puncturing kind from their shards, and that's mostly just to humans, not wildlife.
  • Glass doesn't break down over time or in sunlight, as the plastic used in bottles does. This, plus the fact glass is not porous, make glass safe for reuse over and over, only needing to be cleaned between uses.

Dedicated to producing better glass products for our customers, we have founded our unique glass bottle brand Syntic. Our team is a group of young people, who has been devoted ourselves to environmental protection  especially the plastic pollution. We encourage people use reusable glass product as a substitute for plastic product, which also has become one of our important business ideas. We hope everyone who gets our product to realize the importance of reducing the use of plastic. Protect our earth, we're always on the move!Â
